DUPERITE Kitchen Canister set of 4 + 1 (Sugar, Rice, Sago & Tea), Deco, in an appealing creamy-yellow bakelite, c.1940’s – see more info below

These are made of a most durable bakelite, which is much easier to clean & avoid staining compared with plastic canisters.  They are in good condition, but the 2 small lids have a small piece broken from flanged locating rim, which is not noticeable when lids are fitted on canister.  (see photos)
