DUPERITE Kitchen ‘T’ (Tea) Canister, 15cm. high, part of Harlequin set, in deep blue bakelite, c.1940’s – see more info below

These are made of a most durable bakelite, which is much easier to clean & avoid staining compared with plastic canisters.  There is a small piece broken from a corner of the locating rim of the lid, shown in one photo
